Awards
The 9th PyChem will distinguish the best oral, poster, and flash communications. Presentations will be evaluated by a pre-selected jury based on scientific quality, originality, impact, presentation clarity, and the ability to respond to questions. Details about each communication award can be found in the following documents:
Oral communication award sponsor
The best oral communication will be awarded with 150€, sponsored by European Young Chemists' Group (EYCN).

Portuguese Young Chemist Award

The Portuguese Young Chemists Award (PYCA) is awarded by GQJ and aims to promote excellence in chemistry developed by young researchers, with a special focus on the impact of chemistry on society. The prize is awarded every two years to recent PhD graduates aged up to 35 and honours the work carried out during their PhD.
The winner will have the chance to present their work at PYChem 2025 in Faro and have their article published in the Boletim de Química.
